About the Event

Visitors explored the story of Albany/Kinjarling through a visually rich exhibition featuring panoramic projections across a 180-degree screen. Layered imagery revealed powerful contrasts of change and continuity — from deep Menang heritage and early seafaring encounters to military history, distinctive architecture and breathtaking natural landscapes.

Narrated tours brought each panorama to life through diverse voices and lived experiences, guiding visitors through streets, shorelines and forgotten corners to uncover stories spanning generations. This immersive, thought-provoking experience encouraged reflection on the many layers of Albany, a place of resilience, transformation and enduring connection to Country.
